Mt. St. Mary’s College, Namagunga, Mourns the Loss of a Beloved Deputy Headteacher

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the Board of Governors, the Headteacher, the Religious Community, members of staff, students, alumnae, parents, and the entire Mt. St. Mary’s College Namagunga community announce the passing of Ms. Namirembe Georgia, the school’s Deputy Headteacher in charge of Administration and Welfare.

Ms. Namirembe’s passing is a tremendous loss not only to our school but also to the wider education fraternity. She faithfully served Mt. St. Mary’s College Namagunga with exceptional dedication, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to nurturing generations of young women.

Throughout her years of service, Ms. Namirembe distinguished herself as a compassionate leader whose door was always open to students, staff, and parents alike. She believed that education extends beyond academic excellence, placing great emphasis on discipline, character formation, student welfare, and holistic development.

A Life Dedicated to Service

As Deputy Headteacher in charge of Administration and Welfare, Ms. Namirembe played an instrumental role in ensuring the smooth administration of the school while championing the well-being of every student entrusted to her care. Her calm demeanor, sound judgment, and strong leadership made her a pillar of strength within the Namagunga community.

She was admired for her wisdom, integrity, humility, and ability to guide others with patience and understanding. Whether mentoring students, supporting fellow staff members, or working alongside school leadership, Ms. Namirembe carried out every responsibility with diligence and a deep sense of purpose.

Ms. Namirembe’s dedication, wisdom, care, and unwavering love for the girl child were truly remarkable. She inspired countless young women to pursue excellence, embrace discipline, and become responsible leaders in society.

During this difficult time, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Ms. Namirembe Georgia’s family, relatives, friends, colleagues, former students, and all who had the privilege of knowing and working with her.

We invite the entire Namagunga family, our alumnae, parents, well-wishers, and friends of the school to keep her family and our school community in their prayers as we mourn this irreplaceable loss.
