Mama Kevina Library is a great resource to Mt. St. Mary’s College Namagunga comprising of the student’s and staff section. It enhances the student’s academic and life spheres through adventurous and personal discovery from our colossal collection. Shelving about 15000 books, Mama Kevina Library is also spacious and comfortable due to the serene environment giving the reader a comfortable and convenient service.
The library collection is organized according to international standards, that is to say, Dewy Decimal Classification system and catalogued with Anglo American Cataloguing rules 2nd edition thus locating something to read is a few seconds away.
Fresh and selected newspapers from the printing press is a daily habit for Mama Kevina Library preventing current affairs decay for the students not forgetting a bunch of selected magazines and general information resources. These include Dictionaries, World Books, Atlases, Guinness World Book of Records, Independent magazines, Almanacs, Encyclopedias, Thesaurus, National Geographic, Bulletins from (Bank of Uganda, Parliament, National Environmental Management Authority, National Water and Sewerage Corporation, Uganda Revenue Authority, The Constitution of the Republic of Uganda etc.)
